Herniated L5-S1 disc.
The MRI did it’s job. According to my doctor, it’s a herinated (bulging) disc between the L5 and S1 vertebrae. I definately belive this, as I am certainly expiencing the symptoms of that kind of injury.
So for the next six weeks I’ll be taking 100mg diclofenac sodium tablets and be going to “intensive physical therapy”. Oh joy.
Well, I’ve been looking for a good reason to get more active, and start taking better care of myself… And… well I can’t think of any better excuse beyond “severe pain from undue pressure on my spinal cord”. I’m stinking 23. If I don’t do something now, this is only going to get worse.
So anyhow… once my back stops burning like the blazes of hell, expect my not-at-work coding to drop off significantly. I need to do something other than sit on my fat can. It’s killing me. (probably quite literally at that)

Eep, poor you :/
I’ve also been eating these for two weeks, but 50 mg 2-3 times daily for my broken collar bone, which heals a lot faster than a back gone-wrong. Hope you get better soon!
