Live From Waltercon!
So I’m in Las Vegas for WalterCon 05′. Michael Phipps is currently standing up and talking about drivers, libs, etc.
Andrew Bachmann is building the latest Java source tree (we’ll demo later) and there’s about 20 in attendance this year. It’s a small, eclectic group, but hey — we’re having fun!
I walked the length of the Vegas strip yesterday, and have seen a lot of the touristy area of Vegas. Talk about seedy. I mean, just look at this picture I took last night while walking around with Andrew, his gf, and DarkWyrm…

I’m still here, up all night. It’s now Monday morning. I was crossing the street around 5:30 and I see this black woman in teeny shorts (panties?) crossing the road. She looks at me and makes a suggestion that we go somewhere.
I decline. She asks me if I don’t like black girls. I sat I’m going to get a hamburger.
She says “How about a pussy burger?”
Then I ran across the road(at a 90 degree angle.)
My fatburger was great and there was an internet jukebox, it was great too.
Also some drunk butch (lesbian?!) in a cast asked me if I wanted to kiss her.
It got wierd after everyone left.
God I need sleep.

Michael, now I feel bad that I didn’t just get a room for you. Rooms were a lot cheaper on Sunday night, and I had some money in my pocket that I had planned to waste on gambling (but I couldn’t bring myself to throw it away like that in the casino). Damn. At least it sounds like you had a memorable adventure. You probably would have spent the whole night wandering the streets anyway, right?
