So the cutover is complete… there’s only one thing left to fix, and that’s something I didn’t use much until recently anyhow — mailman.

I’m debating about weather or not to put it back on.

I’ve got some things I’m going to start working on this week or next, I’m not sure when or how. But it’s going to happen.. as soon as I get this room cleaned up again. Ugh.

Anyhow, this server is now upgraded a bit. It’s got about triple the disk space it had, and it’s now running RAID5, rather than RAID1, and I must say, it’s quite nice.

I wish it were hardware RAID. Unfortunately, that isn’t going to work… the hardware raid card I have seems to be having issues. I’ll be trying to figure that out a bit more here in the next few days while I tweak with boris, and the old sca drives in his case.

Anyhow, it’s been a long two days, but I’ve got the server running, and it’s in a shape that I’m really happy with.
