Wood Stain Spot Tests, no pictures yet.

I spent about an hour trying to get the wood stain colors to match between trim and cabinets. The wood types are slightly different, lending different hues & absorbtion rates to the stain. I think the cabinets are going to have to soak overnight before having the excess wiped off prior to the polyurethane being applied. Either way, I’m working on getting things to look right with test pieces before I do the full-on attempt at refinishing the wood for real. I’m probably going to refinish the other bathroom’s cabinets too if this goes well.

We’ll see.

The girl was over for a light dinner and movie last night, hence why nothing else got accomplished.

If the weather is nice tomorrow (which it looks like it will be) I’ll be switching gears and attacking my roof with a saws-all, for the purpose of putting in the Solatubes.
