Scroll Saw Restoration Update

The bottom assemblies have all been cleaned up, repainted, and are now mostly reassembled. There’s a few parts left to finish shining up and put back on (chuck for the lower blade mount) I’ll be starting on the top arm this week. That will be fun.

Note the brass tubing. Yes, that’s brass, and it’s shiny now. :-)

All the bolts, nuts, washers, fittings have been cleaned, polished, and protected from corrosion with a spray carnuba wax. You can’t tell in the photo, due to the reflection of the flash, but the top of the table is in way better shape. The only way it would get any better is if I have it reground at a machine shop, which really isn’t necessary.
