What a week.
As if April Fools wasn’t enough, the day after April fools was a life-changer.
More on that later, but here’s a 1000 word hint.
The sinus infection I’ve been fighting for two weeks finally got the best of me, and went full-bore and headed for my lungs. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday I was miserable. I made it to the doctor on Saturday, I have some medicine, and I’m getting better. I was able to make it out to the garage today to continue my spring-time clean up, clean out, organize, and attack. I painted the cabinet for the scroll-saw, mounted the saw and the motor, tuned everything up, mounted a blade in the saw, and for the first time since I got it in December — was able to use it! It runs perfectly. Starting, no so much. The motor needs a new starting capacitor. But once it’s running, it works flawlessly. I’m very happy with this saw. If it’s taken care of, it will likely outlast me.
Here’s the current state of the saw and it’s cabinet. No drawer, no door, no casters. None of those are huge tasks — and they’re on hold until I choke up the money for a cheap drawer slide, the casters, or some cheap pine to make the door frame.

You know, it (wood) be best if you (wood) leave testing wood saws to wood you saw when you saw wood and not try to make it easier to wear wood shoes after you cut the wood you saw with the wood saw and continued on to cutting where the wood you wood saw is not wood and won’t be wood, because that is a wood mistake.
Perhaps you should invest in a pair of steel-toed boots?

“Villains!” I shrieked, “dissemble no more! I admit the deed! — tear up the planks! — here, here! — it is the beating of his hideous heart!”
