I’ll post pictures later tonight, but… I spent a few hours yesterday working on the framing members. The fronts and backs have 1″ deep, 1/4″ wide grooves through them. That was a quick process. No doubt aggravated by saw dust (despite wearing a sanding mask nearly religiously), my sinuses are rebelling.
