Door Problem Solved!
Last night I took my cabinet scraper to the front frames of two of the new cabinet doors. The last time I borrowed Ted’s planer, it had some blade damage that left a few grooves in the wood. I was too lazy (in too big a hurry) to fully scrape & sand those down, thinking I could hide it with the stain. That didn’t work so well, so I used the scraper to take off all the finish, shave off the high points, and then sanded the frames smooth again. After re-staining, I’m very satisfied that this will work.
So tonight I need to take a few minutes with the tack cloth, then I’ll spray one last time on the four doors, and put a nice coat on the two doors I just man-handled yesterday.
