The new heat sink arrived last night.

Less than a hour later I had the laptop’s motherboard swapped out. I made quick work of that, huh?

Seems I can almost take this laptop apart in my sleep now. The difference in performance for gfx operations (watching processor load while doing graphics things) is amazing. This is a nice upgrade.
